EDAP 335. Training and Human Resource Development. 3 crs. Overview of the field of human resource development with emphasis on training as a major area of responsibility for educators and human service practitioners.

EDAP 340. School Public Relations. 3 crs. Analysis of principles, practices, and materials for interpreting schools to their various publics; the function of media; school and community groups in a public relations program. Prereqs.: EDAP 282, EDAP 286, and EDAP 382.

EDAP 341. Economics of Education II. 3 crs. Examines the politico-economic origins, assumptions, strategies of educational planning to meet manpower needs.

EDAP 350. Seminar in Philosophical Foundations. 3 crs. Analysis of educational problems from a philosophical perspective.

EDAP 354. Analysis of Educational Concepts. 3 crs. Linguistic analysis of selected concepts in education.

EDAP 355. Black Educational Thought. 3 crs. Analysis of the ideas of black leaders on educational issues.

EDAP 380. Problems in Administration and Supervision. 3 crs. Examines problems incident to program leadership, school organization, administration, and personnel.

EDAP 381. Organizational Change in Education. 3 crs. Study of bureaucracies and the dynamics of planned change, with major emphasis on student planning of a change strategy.

EDAP 382. Conceptual Cases in Administration and Supervision. 3 crs. Students develop a conceptual framework that may be applied to case problems. Prereq.: EDAP 286.

EDAP 383. Community School. 3 crs. Analysis of historical perspective and current defelopments in community schools concepts, with emphasis on the social, political, and organizational factors affecting development.

EDAP 384. Practicum in School Administration and Supervision. 3 crs. Internship experience in school administration and supervision.

EDAP 385. Legal Aspects of School Administration. 3 crs. Emphasizes legislation and litigation related to public education.

EDAP 386. School Finance—Policy Issues in School Politics. 3 crs. Treats school finance schemes, funding patterns, fiscal management techniques, and political and economic influences on school finance. Includes the management and use of information systems. EDAP 401. International Field Study in Adult Education. 3 crs. An overseas group study experience with comparative adult education philosophies and practices in selected countries; for CAGS students.

EDAP 410. Individualized Instruction. 3 crs. Discusses the history, theory, and application of individualized instruction at all levels of education.

EDAP 411. Introduction to Computer-Assisted Instruction. 3 crs. Deals with the theory and practice of computer-assisted, computer-managed, and computer-based instruction; frequent field visits.

EDAP 480. Seminar in Administration of Urban Education. 3 crs. Examines the social, psychological, and political aspects affecting the leadership behavior of administrators.
